Question
I have the above battery powered grandfather clock that when the battery is installed and the pendulum moves it may last for a minute or two then stops.  I tried to find new mechanism locally but no luck.  the only identifying marks on the mechanics is N 29 R.  Where can I get a replacement for my clock and what can I expect to spend to fix it? Thank you!

Answer
I suggest you look at one of the online catalogs for clock materials.  Here are 3 that sell to the public.  Merritt's Antiques, located in Pa. <merritts.com>.  Ronell Clocks, located in Or.
<ronellclock.com>.  TimeSavers, located in Az. <timesavers.com>  I am sure one of these firms could meet your needs.  Regard WJP
