i have a seth thomas short drop octagon calendar wall clock now on the movement in the back is made in America also a triangle with an st in it .on the front is a paper dial original down the bottom is manufactured in the united states of America , and in the middle towards the top is what looks like a 43 or a 48 in a triangle, can you tell me how old this clock is or when it was made.thank you Jeff.

I am sorry but the data you provide is not adequete for me locate the information you seek.  Based upon what you have relayed to me, I can tell your clock was made prior to 1931 at which time the assets of Seth Thomas were taken over by General Time Instraments Company.  To provide any other information I would have to see the clock in order to identify the model of the movement and the style of the case.  Sometimes I am able to do this from pictures.  If you could send some digital pictures perhaps I could serve you further, I would need pictures of both the case and the movement.  Be sure to place a measuring device (ruler) in your picture so that I can take measurements.  Send such pictures to my e-mail address flashpowder@hotmail.com.  Regards WJP
