Question
QUESTION: I have inherited a Hermle clock that my father-in-law assembled.  I need a key to wind the spring and the spring steel hinge that holds the pendulum to the frame.  It's a composite assembly held in by a setscrew and has a cross pin for the pendulum to hang. Where can I purchase these parts.

ANSWER: Hi Joe,
Most Hermle movements use a size 7 key. If you give me the numbers stamped on the back of the clock movement I can be sure of the key size and also the suspension spring you need.

QUESTION: numbers on back are: 85 791-681    16.5 CM    167.700

Answer
Information on this movement is hard to come by but I was able to find out the following: Your key will either be a #3 or a #7. The #7 fits 5/32" (4mm) square shafts; the 3 fits 3/32" (3mm) square shafts.
Your suspension spring should be out SS-0060.

Use the drop down menu to choose the size.
