Question
Have a clock with quartz movement, D battery, on front of clock it shows Verichron Quartz and Quadrachime.  Has a pendulum. Problem is that the chimes do not work.  Has an on/off switch but have not been able to make it chime.  Can anything be done - repair or replace quartz movement with chime and where can that be obtained?

Answer
Hi Jeanette,
I doubt if it's fixable but we can probably find a movement to replace yours. I'm not sure what quadrachime means but I'm guessing that it has 4 chime rods. Could this be correct?
I would like to see a photo of the movement from behind. Please send a photo or let me know if you can't do that.
Thanks,
Michael
