QUESTION: Michael, I'm attaching a couple of digital photos of the part in need - shaft assembly that operates the hammer.  The cam does not pickup the pall (or whatever that thingy is!) It's worn away.
Let me know if you need other photos/information,

ANSWER: Thanks for the photo. It looks like the finger on the hammer assembly has a groove worn in it. I've seen this happen before. Let me know if I'm wrong.
That finger is pressed into the shaft that goes all the way through the movement. I don't think you can remove it so the only fix is to replace the entire hammer shaft. I can probably find one for you but I am not sure if you can remove yours without taking the movement apart. Can you check to see if you would be able to transfer a new one to your movement?

QUESTION: Thanks Michael. I can put the new part in theres plenty of space.Id love to buy the parts from you. I did gage repair in my  youth and these clocks are so cool ,if you have books for sale on clock repair i'll take them.thanks again look forward to your e mail Vid

Answer
I checked with the largest Hermle parts supplier and the part is not sold separately from the movement. I do have a used movement that has that part intact. It appears to be in great condition. I don't see any wear from the backside of the lifter although I can't see the front of it without taking the movement apart.
I'm willing to junk the movement and sell you that part for $15.00 + $4.59 shipping. Let me know if you are interested.
