Question
Just got this clock back from repair shop, keeping perfect time but the hour chime is behind 1 hour.  Quarter hour chime is perfect. Have been told with this age of clock to not turn hands to adjust chimes?  How do we fix the chime to the correct hour?

Answer
You should be able to move the hour hand to whatever hour the clock is striking. Then advance the minute hand, wait for it to finish chiming every quarter, until you get to the correct time.
By the way; I doubt if your clock was made in 1903, I don't think colonial was in business back then. It is probably a more modern clock than that.
