Question
Pendulum only swings for abt. 30 min. and quits.  Clock has been oiled to best of my ability.  The spring is not broken. Any clues.  Thanks.

Answer
Check to see if the clock is "in beat". Listen to the ticking, the ticks should be evenly spaced in time, like someone walking.
If it is uneven, push the pendulum to one side and let it go. After it swings for about a minute listen to the ticking again.
