Question
Dear Melvin,

Thank you for replying to a question I have asked previously about pocket watches, i now have another - i have question regarding a ladies pocket watch, the case shows: CWC Co Trade Mark 1615617. The watch face show roman numerals and has a second face as well, the name on the watch is AWW Co Waltham Mass - if you could provide me with further information regarding this watch that would be appreciated.

Regards, Margaret

Answer
Ms. Margaret,

CWC Co stands fro the Crescent Watch Case Company.

AWW Co stands for American Waltham Watch Co., which is also known as the Waltham Watch Co.  They were around from 1851-1957.
