Clocks, Watches/Emperor 101M

Question
I am in the works of installing a new 451-050H 94cm movement, replacing an identical older movement ( 30 year old Emperor issue ) since chimes do not function. I have tinkered with this movement for sometime and have declared that it is more feasible to yank out and replace it since a clock shop wants 500$ for repairs.  I am new to clocks, and hope this to be rewarding learning experience. My concern with installation is first the removal and installation of hands and meshing the moon gear with the movement. Any pointers for the beginner. Also looking for an oiling diagram.

Answer
Please provide me with your e-mail address.  I believe I can provide you with some very useful information.  Incidentally you are very much on the right track.  Replacing the movement will not only cost you much less, you will also end up with a much better clock than when it was new.  And, as and extra bonus, you learn something new.  Regards WJP
