Clocks, Watches/Grandmother clock hour stike

Question
Our clock strikes the hour correctly up to about 8 and then stops for the higher numbered hours after about 8 chimes. It is a westminster chime. The quarter strikes are OK and the weights are in the correct position. The clock has been serviced within the last year and has been working great until recently.

Answer
Based upon your comment of recent servicing I suggest you return the clock to the person who performed the service.  My guess is that something has slipped , became loose or has bent.  I suspect a simple tweaking will resolve your problem.  Regards WJP
