Clocks, Watches/Hermle 701-781

Question
I have one of these, working well except that it was turned backwards and now no longer chimes the hour.  It looks a lot like either an Hermle Lester or Stamford from this list:
http://www.hermleclock.com/index.php?module=productlist&prodcat=24

(they look exactly the same to me)
and the movement seems to be a 701 by this chart:
0701 = 8-day, 1/1 hr bell strike, skeleton, chain driven, pendulum
http://www.hermleclock.com/index.php?page=Movement%20Codes

Hermle NA has no picture of the movement, except to tell me that there was a chime-return Wire, not a spring.  I recall measuring something that looked broken like that, a .015" piece of spring steel, but I dont know how it is supposed to attach.

Can I use a wound spring, instead; and can you find an image of this movement?
Thanks
F

Answer
I am sorry.  I cannot help you in this matter.  I have no familiarity with the clock you describe, nor can I find any relevant information in any of my reference material's.  Although I have been retired for many years and if I needed relevant information I would pursue the matter with Hermle.  First here in the U.S., then, that failing, to their German headquarters.  Again I am sorry that I cannot help you.  Regards WJP
