Question
I purchased a Linden Cuckoo mantel clock at a garage sale.  The owner told me it works.  I can't get the pendulum to swing past the center.  It will move freely to the left but not the right and stops at the center.  What can I do to get the pendulum to make a complete swing left to right?

Answer
The clock might not be properly assembled.  To assist you in correcting this type problem> refer you to the following on-line site, http://www.grandfatherclocks123.com/clock_information/cuckoo_clock_owners_guide.
This will provide you with a cuckoo clock owners manual.  If this does not help you solve the problem it will provide you with information you can relay back to me for consultation.  I would suggest enlarge and print out the first diagram appearing in the manual.  Regards WJP
