Question
This clock was a gift and is new. It runs slow by about 10 min. per day! Is there a adjustment or does it have to be sent for repair? I didn't want to take the clock apart to look for a adjustment.
Thank You, Terry

Answer
The clock movement is quartz and there is no adjustment for the time keeping. If you have a good battery in it and it still won't keep time you will need to replace the movement. It has been my experience that the movement will need to be an exact factory replacement. I doubt if you can use an after-market movement.
Most Seiko movements have to be bought from a Seiko authorized dealer. There is a caliber number under the battery, this is the number that is used to identify the movement. You can try to get a Seiko authorized dealer to call Coserve (the only parts company for Seiko) and get a price for you.
