Clocks, Watches/Wuersch Mantle Clock runs fast

Question
QUESTION: I have a Wuersch Mantle Clock 108-2138 Watson Mantle that runs 5 minutes fast a week. How do you control?
Thanks

ANSWER: 5 minutes a week is less than 1 minute a day so your adjustment should be very small. I need to know if the clock has a pendulum or a balance wheel.
Can you tell me this?
Michael

QUESTION: It does not have a pendulum so I guess it has a balance wheel.
The only thing that can be seen through a solid brass back plate is a single wheel about the size of a quarter.

Answer
Look at the balance closely, there should be a small tab or arm sticking out beyond the top plate. This is the time keeping adjustment arm. There should be a minus and plus symbol somewhere nearby. You slide that arm toward the + to speed it up and toward the - to slow it down. Let me know if you have any problems with this.
