QuestionQUESTION: I just got my movement back from getting cleaned and was told that it is working fine now. Problem is I can not get it running.
checked level and ok, even raised one side to get pendumlum swinging the same distance from side to side. moved weights around and still no joy when turning the hands it will chime, but will not keep running. Any ideas?
ANSWER: Did the clock repair person install it back in the case or did you?
Can you hear it tick.
There are a few things that can get knocked out of adjustment when handling the movement. I'll try to work with you and see if we can diagnose the problem.

QUESTION: Thank you for your return answer, but this did not show any answers. As stated, "There are a few things that can get knocked out of adjustment when handling the movement. I'll try to work with you and see if we can diagnose the problem." The problem is that no answers or suggestions given.....can you supply the answers????
AnswerIt is very hard to diagnose the problem without inspecting the clock. That is why I'm asking questions. Once again:
Did the clock repair person install it back in the case or did you?
Can you hear it tick?
I said I would work with you on this but I will need to gather information from you in order to help.
As it is in repairing anything finding the problem comes before the solution.
