Question

Clock LYRE?
I Purchased A Lot Of About 6 Brass Clock LYRES.  There Was Also 4 Of These.  Can You Tell Me What They Are? and How They Install?  They Seem To Have A Small Tip, Like A WATCH BAND PIN, Only It Doesn't Push In.  The BRASS Part Is About 3 1/2" Long & The Silver Rod Is 3 5/8" Long.  I Appreciate The Help, Thanx, Kevin

P.S. Picture Attached

Answer
These are hammer assemblies. There are missing the hammer heads, there would be one hammer head on the end of each wire. They are for the strike side of a clock, all four hammers would strike chime rods at once and count out the hour of the clock.
Installation of these would vary based on what movement they are for.
