This clock was purchased in the late 1970's and quit working 15 years ago. It will not wind up. Is it impossible to repair or too costly? Thank you

not impossible to repair

costly is in the eye of the beholder

from a street value perspective it should have been trashed 15 years ago

from your possible sentimental perspective, you might want to get it repaired or the mechanism replaced- ($200-300)
