QUESTION: i had 4 chimes broken in a recent move. the clock mechanism number is UW 32/1A. the "serial number" is 386541. it is a howard miller madee in 1974. i need the chime block. can you help m locate it?

ANSWER: easier to replace the rods I think-- how long is the longest rod? how many broken- from each side?

QUESTION: a  piece remains in the block. i assume that it would have tobe drilled out to take a new rod. in that case, it would be better to order the entire block. do you agree?
Also, is there a universal replacement for the 32001?
Also, why is it a challenge to 'interchange properly'. therre are only 2 screws.

"a piece" what piece? part of the threaded brass rod head because it broke? they normally un-screw.

32001 is the Urgos part # for the mechanism and does not tell us about the chime block.
here is 4 pages of choices--you pick the one?  2 scews = what spacing? diameter? location? how long is the longest rod? how many broken- from each side?
