Question
how do i sychronize chimes with hand time, it is correct with each  hour and half hour  just number of chimes at top of hour

Answer
Hi Henry,

You have to put the hands where the clock is telling you they go.
If the clock is striking 10 then you need to put the hour hand on ten
and the minute hand on 12. Then set the clock to the correct time.

If you need to move the hour hand then just snug it back towards the dial after you move it.
If you need to move the minute hand to put it on the 12 then you need to remove the hand nut first, put the hand on the 12 and snug it up with a pliers.

Hope this helps,
Marilyn

Expertise

This is for advice only. ~Most~ repairs need a professional. If I can help you with an adjustment that can set your clock back in order I will try. I can not write a chapter on clock repair. I will point you in the right direction and you will have to do your own research on how clocks work for more intense repairs. -No Watches -No Appraisals. Search ebay for past sales for that information.
