Clocks, Watches/value

What is the valuations colonial clock model 1724

Hi Dave.

When I looked up the model number I saw that it is a traditional
style grandmother clock.
Since clocks wear out after about 25 years of service most clocks
haven't had the overhaul they need at this age.
If no overhaul was done, cleaning, oiling and any bushings in
worn pivot holes...and usually almost all them need bushings...
the person buying the clock will have to put in over $500 to
get this clock into an acceptable working order.

You can be the judge on how much the clock is worth.
Personally I wouldn't pay more than $50 if it has
the 3 weights and the pendulum, since there is
a big expense involved.

You can look on ebay, sold listings, to see what they
have sold for.

Hope this helps,

This is for advice only. ~Most~ repairs need a professional. If I can help you with an adjustment that can set your clock back in order I will try. I can not write a chapter on clock repair. I will point you in the right direction and you will have to do your own research on how clocks work for more intense repairs. -No Watches -No Appraisals. Search ebay for past sales for that information.
