Question
The left weight on my clock does not drop down......
my clock keeps almost "perfect" time but it does not chime the hour chimes (Westminster).......it does however chime the quarter hour chimes..Can you help?

Thomas: the quarter hour is the Westminster CHIMES and the hour is the STRIKE. You might try pulling slightly on the left weight as you turn the minute hand thru the hour and see if it gets freed up? I assume this is a chain drive weight system. No shut off or "silent" lever near #9 on the dial is there??
