Clocks, Watches/Grandfather clock chimes too lone

Question
I have a Ridgeway grandfather clock that chimes four hours off.  For instance, at 5 o'clock it will chime nine times.  Any suggestions?
Thank you

Answer
Simply turn the hour hand back 4 hours.  To do this you need to grasp the hour hand as close to its shaft as you can.  If the friction fit of the hand to the shaft is to tight, remove the minute hand and pry the hour hand outward to break its hold on its shaft.  Be sure to protect your dial from pressure from your pry devise.  After you have made the correction push the hand back towards the dial in order to re-establish its grip to the shaft.  This should do you  WJP_
