| Comment | Thanks, Melvin. Unfortunately, the minute hand cannot be repositioned to 12 separate from the shaft, as they lock into position with each other. I located another answer since asking the question, and it tells the procedure to "force" the minute hand and shaft to 12 using finger pressure on the minute hand retaining nut and on the round wheel that serves for setting the time. But I appreciate your responding, and fully understand how a watch guy might not be aware of this issue (I just learned something myself here.) Regards, Dave | ||
