Clocks, Watches/Hour strike

Question
I have an Emperor Self Regulating Escapement, Model 101 High Pallet Bridge, 8 day, weight driven, chain wind, full Westminister Chimes, chimes each quarter hour, and strikes each hour. The strikes for hours 1-9 are right on, but then strikes 9 for 10, 10 for 11, and 11 for 12. This problem started about February 2007. My son made the case from rough sawn oak, and put this movement in it. It keeps very good time but for the strike problem.
Thanks for your consideration in this matter.

Answer
Kinda technical - but the rack is dropping not enough teeth- most often caused by the rack tail being bent. The fix is to make adjustments to the front of the mechanism so it works properly. To do this the front of the movement needs to be accessible either by removing the mechaism from the case or sometimes the dial can be removed to gain access. Easy job for a pro.
