Clocks, Watches/Linden chiming battery operated clock

Question
My mother has a Linden battery operated Wstminister Chime wall clock.  Sinc daylight savings time changed the clock chimes all night!  Before it chimed til 11PM and began again at 6AM.  Is there any way to fix this?  I cannot find a manual on how to operate it.  My father was the only one who knew how to fix it.  Please help!
On ht eback of the clock, there is a Min/Max dial for loudness, there is a start/stop switch, a count set button, and a test button.  The batteries are good and the clock works fine.  I just would like it to chime during waking hours, not all night.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!

Answer
Hi Cathy,
There are many different kinds of battery movements, they all set differently and some are very complicated to set, so I can only be of limited assistance.
First, make sure that the clock is not just set 12 hours incorrect. Make sure that you hear the clock chiming between 11am and 6pm. If it doesn't, advance the time 12 hours and this should fix the problem.
If this doesn't work, try advancing the count set button 12 hours. Finally, look for a night-off switch which you may have missed. On some clocks, you can set it to chime 24 hours a day or to shut off at night. Finally, try turning the shutoff switch to "off," then restarting the clock 12 hours later.
If none of this works, you contact Linden for an instruction manual. I believe they have a web sight.
