Clocks, Watches/Pendulum on Antique French Moreau Clock Set

Question
I recently purchased an antique clock set on eBay and the pendulum was taken off for packing and packing material was placed inside clock.  EBay item #120164708079 will show you the clock.  There doesn't seem to be a place to hang the pendulum inside clock. I know NOTHING about clocks though. Can you guide me through this please?  I love the clock, but did I probably pay too much for it?

Answer
I diligently viewed the picture submitted to auction the clock you recently purchased.  Nowhere in these pictures do I see a pendulum crutch.  The 20th picture of the series show the movement with bell off and pendulum hung, but there does not appear to be a pendulum crutch.  This is an absolutely essential part.  The crutch is the member of the pendulum assembly that causes the movement of the anchor and the release and locking of the escapewheel.  I find it hard to believe it is not there.  I don't want to be an alarmist but I urge you to take this clock to a qualified clock repair person for examination.  If the part is indeed there, the clock mechanic will show you how to hang the pendulum, which is quite easy to do, if indeed everything is there.  I am really concerned about this, please let me know how it turns out.
As to the value of your clock, that is entirely up to you.  If it gives you pleasure, it is priceless.
Regards WJP
