Clocks, Watches/Quartz Japan Movement Watch

Question
Hi- I recently found a watch, and was wondering if you could give me any information about it.

It looks like marquisite (diamonds? around the band and face plate), with a mother of pearl/ opal background. On the face it says Quartz Japan Movement, and on the back it says Stainless Steel Back/ SR626SW/ Japan Movement and F3059331/U.

Please let me know any information you have regarding this watch at your earliest convenience.

Thanks!

Answer
Danielle,

If it does not have the company name on the dial, it is probably not from a big company.

That means it is probably an inexpensive watch.

The number on the back is the watch battery number.

Japanese movements are well made as a rule so if it is running, it will probably work fine and keep time for the foreseeable future.

Kind regards,

Melvin
