Clocks, Watches/Replacing Watch Battery

Question

I believe I have replaced my watch battery correctly-it works fine.
QUESTION: The 2 little prongs coming up from the battery
retainer clip [positive terminal] are designed to make contact with the inside of the back cover when it's snapped back into place---YES?

Answer
the good news is that if the watch is working, everything is fine just the way it is.

If it stops working, then look inside the watch to find a place on the side of the battery cavity that the clip might fit into.

If it is working, don't reopen it.

Kind regards,

Melvin
