I have inherited the works of a Hermle Grandfather Clock - The basic hours minutes and seconds seem to work but I have no instructions of how to set up day month and day of week - the works has following number on it 451-053HK25 - Coul you offer setup advice or guide me to help?

Les-- shut off the chimes with the switch by the #3 - assuming it has a shut off there. If not, just remove the right side weight. Then using the minute hand go around and around clockwise till the dates and day change. There after you should be able to move the pointers on the little dials to the current correct settings. The time will be sometime shortly after midnight if the dial was originally set up properly. Run the hands to the correct time am or pm and rehang the right weight or turn the switch at #3 back to a chime selection.
