Would it be possible to either borrow or purchase your student video pertaining to Cuckoo clock repair. I have an aged orphan cuckoo that I purchased with a combination countwheel and pinwheel for controlling the gong strike and cuckoo call. I have reset the hands a few times to correct the cuckoo call, but it does not remain constant. I assume that the countwheel control lever train has a problem. The time side is fine and keeps good time. Just perplexing at this time. This clock is compact and not easy to work on without removing the bellows etc.
Thank you,
Dick
Answer I am sorry, I gave the tape away. I will look into my files and see from whence I aquired it. If I find the information I will get back to you. I will however, reccomend to you a book that might be helpfull. "THE BLACK FOREST CUCKOO CLOCK by Karl Kochmann" If is is not in your local library, try e-bay or one of the on-line book stores, i.e., amazon, abe etc. Regards WJP
I have found a DVD copy of that tape. Send me a prepaid, self addressed DVD mailer and I will send it along to you.
