Question
dear expert:
My mother has the above described clock which she has had for at least 30 years. Recently it stopped working and a clock repairman looked at it. He said he said there was no simple fix and the repairs would likely exceed the value of the clock. Is this clock company still around? Are they my best bet in replacing the clock? Any idea what this clock sells for new?

Thanks,
Greg

Answer
Never heard of that one. probably a Korean made movement. The question is does your mom value it? and how much? The repairman CAN fix it if she wants, regardless of the street value of the clock.

a battery operated movement can probably be fitted to the old case - if that would make Mom happy -ask her -ask the repairman --or forget the whole thing or take her to Wal-Mart and buy a new one?
