Question
I bought this clock on ebay and the owner said it was in perfect working order, however when I received it, it does not appear to be working. Is there anything I can check myself before I bring it to a clock specialist

Valerie:  First wind it with the key tightly in the three places. Move the minute hand backwards 20 minutes.Then with your finger set the balance wheel on the top of the mechanism spinning one time. If it does not keep running; A)return it after consultation with the Ebay seller or B)take it to a clock repair person.
