Question
I recently had a Barwick clock, model # 4878, shipped cross country.  The mechanism connecting the clock works to the pendulum have broken.  I'd like to replace all connecting parts.  How can I obtain the parts?
Thanks

Answer
Hi Jon,
The pendulum connects to the leader (a brass strap 4" to 6" long). The leader connects to the suspension spring (a 2-leaved flat piece). Both these parts are available from clock supply houses like Timesavers and Merritts Antiques. It is best to order a printed catalog to match the correct parts; the suspension spring illustrations in the catalog are actual size, and you can line up the old spring with the picture to make sure that you get the correct size. Due to the different resolutions of computer screens, the online catalog will not necessarily show the illustration correct size.
