Clocks, Watches/regulator clock striking improperly

Question
I have a modern Regulator-type clock with a 4-year-old replacement movement.  The minute hand wobbles a lot (fits on a pin) and fell off recently.  I put it back on and adjusted the time but since then the clock has been striking 15 minutes late.  I took the hand off again and with needle-nose plyers turned the pin back what I hoped was a quarter turn left.  But it's still stiking 15 minutes late.  Any suggestions?

Answer
Lisa : most modern mvts have minute hands with a square holed collet in the hand held on a square shaft by a threaded nut. You can put these minute hands back on pointing at 3,6,9, or 12 - just put it back on right to agree with the striking of the clock and replace the nut.
