Question
I have a Emperor clock that I need to know how to reinstall the pendulum. Could you send me a picture showing the correct way to install it? The movement has the following on the back plate---77 10 76  Heinz Jauch Co.  389779.  Thanks for the help.

Answer
Stan- I have no photo -- but all are the same. The pendulum is an assembly beginning at the top where a two legged suspension spring hangs from a post off the back of the maovement. Then a piece of brass or steel leader about 5-7" long hooks onto the bottom of this little suspension spring and then finally the pendulum top hooks onto the bottom of that leader. There is a connection between the mechanism and the leader with an "L" shaped  crutch that comes out of the back of the mechanism and surrounds the leader or pins thru the leader as it swings.
