Question
I just got a seth thomas camel back clock. It is running fine but I would like to know more about it. Double strikes the quarter half and 3 quarter hour single strikes the hour works are marked with s t  with #89 toward bottom of works. thanks for any info you can give

Answer
I really can't tell you much without either seeing the clock or having more information.  The model 89 series of movements spanned a range of at least 65 years, from the early 1900's to 1970 at which time Seth Thomas as a clock making entity ceased to exist.  If I could see the movement I could determine which variant of the series it was and ergo approximate date of manufacturing.  Also there is quite possibly a label glued to the inside of the case which would elucidate further information.  Perhaps you could send digital pictures.  Since all-expert does not
