Question
Is there a way to adjust the speed that the barrel turns in a Ridgeway grandfather clock?  All three melodies play just too fast.

Answer
The simplest adjustment is to reduce the amount of weight for the chime train.  In some instances this condition is due to the fan on the governor slipping on its arbor.  To correct you would have to tighten the fans grip onto its shaft.  Hopefully this will solve your problem. Regards WJP
