Question
hi, we bought a alaron clock at a yard sale. it a 21 day clock. we need to wind it but don't know how to do it right. could you please tell me. it has 2 places to wind it. thanks so much. linda

Answer
Hi Linda,
A 21 Day clock would be very unusual. Are you sure it is not "31 Day"? You should wind both keys all the way, as far as they'll go. Some clocks wind clockwise, others counter-clockwise, some wind one key in one direction, the other key in the opposite direction. You will only be able to turn the key in the right direction, it just won't turn in the other.
For a 31 Day clock, wind it once a month. For an 8-Day clock, wind it once a week. For a 21 Day, I would wind it every other week. Always wind fully.
