Dear Mr. Clooney,

Hey George. My name is Joanne I'm 21 from Royal Oak, Michigan. I want to wish you a Happy belated 44th birthday. So you're a Taurus huh? That's pretty cool so am I. My Birthday was April 24th. I just want to give you a huge compliment and give you your “props” on such a great job you are doing in the film business. While with your production company/companies and being the busy celebrity you are and all you still manage to find time to just relax.

I was wondering the movie Out of Sight with Jennifer Lopez and yourself of course, were parts or was the whole thing filmed in Michigan.. The Detroit area? Anyway I just wanted to let you know that I think you are a great, sexy and wonderful actor and that you should never change. Recently, this past weekend actually I watched One Fine Day. I may add which was a great film because, I got to see your more playful and funny side of you as an actor and I think that is really great, because you seem to come across as a real fun loving, easy going, prank pulling, down to earth guy. I also watched Oceans Twelve, A rather great sequel to Oceans 11 which was also a really good film. You really truly are a sexy, talented actor.

I recently came across this lovely article that read the following.. Maybe you remember? "6/10/02 Message to the stunning blonde in that red Mercedes convertible: Yes, that REALLY was George Clooney who left his phone number under your windshield wiper! We spotted the Ocean's Eleven ladies' man, 41, scrawling the note and placing it on the lucky gal's car in a Studio City, Calif., parking lot. The curvy cutie, who looked to be in her mid-20s, had parked and walked off before the handsome hounddog could reach her, so he put his pickup line in print. After he drove off, our source couldn't resist peeking at the mystery missive. It read: "Just wanted to say you look real hot. Call me if you're interested in a date." Clooney signed his name and added his phone number."

Just wanted you to know that if she never called you for a date I would be perfectly willing to go on a date with you.( In all seriousness. No fooling.) Feel free to call me on that. *-***-***-****. (my real # is in the letter)

Just wondering if I could get a 5x7 autograph photo of your handsome devil- self it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Well George just wanted to thank you again for taking the time to read this. Hope you had a very HAPPY 44TH BIRTHDAY. Have a good day.

Sincerely, One of your MANY fans

Joanne

Question -
I was jsut wondering if there is anyway to get George Clooney's current home or email address to possibly contact him personally so I can get an autograph and send him a letter. Also does he read his fan mail and sent it back personally?
Answer -
Dear Joanne,

First allow me to apologias for the late respond. For the past week I had Internet problems and was unable to connect online.
And here is you answer:

To contact George all you have to do is send a latter to this next address, I'll advice to add in the latter that you are interested in a signed picture of George.

I really don't know if he reads it or will read yours; my guess will be that he probably reads only a select few which are given to him by whoever handles these things for him.

Answer -
Dear Joanne

haa i don't think it will be a problem.

as for being sure, i really don't know, it's up to the guy who choose to send the select few on to George.

Try to make your latter as unique as possible, but nothing is guarantied, I guess the only way to be 100% sure he will read it is to give it to him face to face, and the odds either of us will ever meet him are quite low, so send the latter and hope that's all you can do.

Answer
Hey Joanne

It's Ok I don't mind that's what I'm here for, to answer questions.

We'll start with your new questions, and then I'll give you my honest thought about your latter.

< about making the letter unique.. how do i do that?>

Well I really don't know, try using your imagination, I never send George a latter (I'm quite happy with respecting his work from afar), I just say try and make it a more mature latter, try not to sound like most fans “oh how I love”.. ”Oh I wanna marry you”.. ”I think you're the hottest man on earth”…. And it goes on and on.
Since I don't know George except for what I see on TV and magazine I can't say what will be the kind of latter that he will want to read, I don't think the envelope will make a different. Even so most chances that he will never get it, that's just the way the industry works, actors at the high position George is hire people who's their job is to make sure everything works like clock, that includes letters as well, I know for sure that many actors give away presents they receive from fans to their employees, it's quite common.

As it says in my bio I don't know George personally and so I have no access to such information (nor am I interested in such information that is in my eyes intrusion of privacy). More to say EVEN if I did knew his screen name (and that's even if he even has one) I wouldn't have given it away for the same reason I mentioned above.

Trust me when I say I understand your need to get closer to him, I was the same way when I was in the beginning but with time I came to the understanding that my prince charming(as much as in some ways I would love it to be) isn't George Clooney. First there's the age different, secondly the fact that we don't live on the same continent, the fact that he has a girlfriend (I never could say anything bad about any of his girlfriends) and last that he doesn't even know I exist. But I also say there's nothing wrong with adoring someone and imagining you're his entire world, as long as deep down you understand that it's just a dream, and that it will never really happen. When you can't or don't or won't understand that, that's when it may have dangers repercussions on your life.

Well I've babbled enough on to my thoughts on your letter( I broke the letter into pieces so it will be easier for me to comment on it):

“Dear Mr. Clooney,”

First of all I'm not sure how I feel about the way you first address him. on one hand it sounds very official quite distance, on the second hand it shows that you respect him, like I said I'm not sure how I feel about it.

”Hey George. My name is Joanne I'm 21 from Royal Oak, Michigan.” I want to wish you a Happy belated 44th birthday. So you're a Taurus huh? That's pretty cool so am I. My Birthday was April 24th…”

That's a nice start, I'm not sure I would start this way, but that's a good way to start understanding common subjects, I'm not sure it will be handed to him, but that's a good start.

“..I just want to give you a huge compliment and give you your “prop” on such a great job you are doing in the film business. While with your production company/companies and being the busy celebrity you are and all you still manage to find time to just relax.”

I like this part too. (BTW what's props? I checked the English-Hebrew dictionary toke down the S and from what I understood it's another way to say plan, am I right?)

”I was wondering the movie Out of Sight with Jennifer Lopez and yourself of course, were parts or was the whole thing filmed in Michigan.. The Detroit area?”

just a small spelling correction, I would say the above line this way: I have a question about your movie Out Of Sight. Did you shot the whole movie in the state of Michigan or only parts of it?
Keep in mind my English is not perfect, but that's the way I would do it, the question makes sense this way.

“Anyway I just wanted to let you know that I think you are a great, sexy and wonderful actor and that you should never change. Recently, this past weekend actually I watched One Fine Day. Well considering you're a fan in understandable you will write something like that, it's written good taste, that's always good not going crazy.

I chose to keep the article piece with your own writing so that hopefully what I will say next will have the effect I hope it will have.
First the article, I advice you not to believe everything written in the papers (or the net for that matter) 95% of the time articles such as this are false, linking it to what you wrote, asking him if the woman did call is haaa quite out of place; such information (if he really did left her his phone number) is personal, I douth (if he will even receive and read this letter) he will even answer that question, considering the fact that he is a very private person.
Now as for you're inviting him for a date and giving you number, oh honey that's just plain wrong, I have no douth that if you will keep that part in your letter I promise you 100% that George will never see (the person who handles this things will probably just throw it away) it let alone call you, for a number of reasons:
1.   He has a girlfriend, a British actress named Lisa Snowdown, they are together for over a year now I think, and it seems as if he really loves her.
2.   You're a fan; it wouldn't surprise me that George didn't, doesn't and wouldn't ever date his fans. That's not a smart line to cross.
My advice take this all part off, including the article, you will do yourself a huge favor, trust me on this one, I know how it's like to write something that shouldn't have been written and then understand what a mistake you did by writing it, if you will send the letter with this part you will never be able to fix it.

”Just wondering if I could get a 5x7 autograph photo of your handsome devil- self it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Well George just wanted to thank you again for taking the time to read this. Hope you had a very HAPPY 44TH BIRTHDAY. Have a good day.

Sincerely, One of your MANY fans

Joanne”

That's a good way to end the letter.

Overall this is a good letter, I hope you will take my advice and will also understand that I didn't mean to offend you (if by any means I did). I only hope you will understand what I was trying to tell you through out this answer.
