Question
what is the best food suitable and fully available for a 2 year old cocker spaniel

Answer
No kibble - use a premium canned food.  Kibble is far too high in carbs for this breed.

Here's a list of foods I recommend:
Canidae (go to Canidae.com and find a store near you)
AvoDerm (PetSmart)
Innova EVO (use formula with "low carbs" on label- not the 95% meat formula)
Evanger's
Eagle Pack Holistic
Merrick
Solid Gold
**Any store that sells Canidae will carry some or all of the other premium foods**
And switch over slowly - some dogs will get an upset tummy from an abrupt change of food.

Expertise

Health, nutrition, training. Please note: I used to highly recommend Innova products but, unfortunately, as with Canidae, they have sold out to Proctor & Gamble. This guarantees lower quality to a dangerous point so I will no longer be advising anyone to buy it.

20 years of owning this breed.
