our pup
Any idea where i could get help with the cost of spaying? we took  in a 9 year old female from a couple that could not keep her because and we did not want to see her in a shelter. We have already spent over $300 just getting her caught up on shots etc... Our vet told us about $500 due to her age. We just don't have the money right now but really want to have it done for her health and comfort. Thanks for any help.

Is her general health good?  Did your vet do a complete Wellness check (blood test & exam)?   I have no idea why it would cost $300 for vaccines unless he did a blood panel.
