Question
my older cocker licks his legs and is alway itchy. He will sit next to your feet to rub up against them. He will also rub one side of his body down the hall wall turn around and rub the other side on the opposite wall. We have him groomed at a local groomer and brush him at least once a week. We have been giving him vitamins for his coat(dr. fosters and smith) healthy coat allergy tabs and healthy coat omega-3 gel caps because my vet said he has alllergies. Do you have any suggestions?

Answer
How old is he?  Did your vet do an allergy blood test?  What are you feeding him?  Has he had his thyroid tested?  How long has he been doing this?

And take a look at his skin where he's itchy..is it a normal pink?
Do you see any flakiness?  How is his coat in general?  Any odor?

Did your vet suggest any topical approaches?  If you can answer these questions I can certainly offer advice on how to make him more comfortable.

Health, nutrition, training. Please note: I used to highly recommend Innova products but, unfortunately, as with Canidae, they have sold out to Proctor & Gamble. This guarantees lower quality to a dangerous point so I will no longer be advising anyone to buy it.
