Cocker Spaniels/back legs tremors/shaking

Question
My 13 yo f cocker occassionally has shaking in both of her back legs-usually when standing and sometimes even when lying down. Interesting-her two 11yo cockapoo daughters have started to do the same thing-neurological? physical? Painful? Should I worry?
thank you
jeff
ps-has happened on Solid Gold/Fromm and Natural Balance

Answer
Your old girl may have arthritis.  Shaking is many times a sign of discomfort in older dogs.
This question seems familiar - have you written me about this before?

I doubt this is diet related but would definitely get some x-rays done and try her on some benign pain killers before using Nsaids (Metacam-Rimadyl-etc).  A lot of people have had success using DogGonePain which is an herbal approach and I think PetSmart now carries it.
