Both eyes are beginning to hair around them. Jakee is very happy and has no other problems or symptoms. We wash but Im ready to go to the vet however, it is very costly,

Can you take your time and be as specific as you can about his eyes?

I don't understand "hair around them".  Is he losing his hair around his eyes?

Are his eyes watering/tears?  Are his eyes red?  Is he rubbing his eyes against furniture or on the carpet?  Any "gunk" coming out of his eyes?

This could be as simple as an allergy or something more serious.
But I need to know more.
