Maya, our cocker spaniel has recently started pooping in the house and not in the yard.  I have taken  her to it and said this is bad, then take her on walk, but still does not go,  Please help we love her so much and would hate to leave her during the day in fensed yard.

I have a few questions, Mary.

When did this start?
Are the stools normal?
When does this happen in relation to feeding time?
When and for how long is she walked daily?
Has there been a change in the household?
How long is she alone during the day?

And no, leaving her alone in the yard all day is a very bad idea for a whole lot of reasons.  So let's try and figure out why this is happening.
