Question
Sandy is five years old and I have noticed she has been peeing where she lays on the bed the coach etc. Why would she be peeing in the house and then laying in it. She has never went on the furniture before. She was laying with me on the bed taking a nap and went to bathroom and then moved to the other side.

Answer
She undoubtedly has a urinary tract infection.  Get a urine sample in a sterile container and get it into your vet.  A round of antibiotics will fix it up.

Personally I'd take her in and have bloodwork done too since it could be a bladder or kidney infection.  If you do that - make sure she's fasted for 8 hours.  An early morning appt. is best.
