Question
My 14 year old spayed female cocker spaniel was in her crate resting when I noticed she started shaking. Her whole body shook for about 15 seconds. This is the second time Ive seen her shake. She still has a good appetite. She goes up and down the stairs with ease. I am concerned because I dont want her in pain. She has sebacious cysts all over her body as well as a few warts. I feel she is too old for surgery. I know she cant live forever.Should I be worried?

Answer
It could be pain and it could be a neurological "glitch" - so I'd wait and see if it happens again.

The questions I'd ask would be:
When does this happen?
Where does it happen?
Is she perhaps cold or crate is in a draft?
How much gentle exercise does she get?
