Hi

I lost my cocker 3 1/2 years ago to cancer and vowed never to have another. However a pet shop where I live in Tenerife has a gorgeous red bitch for sale. She is obviously the runt since she is in a pet shop. She has a white patch on her face and her teeth are under shot. What is your advise. Thanks

No good breeder would give a puppy to a pet shop.  So assume she's from a puppy mill and grill the store owner about where she came from and what health assurances you get.

Sounds like you're already in love :) and I wouldn't worry about her being a runt. She's going to be a pet, not a show dog.
