Cocker Spaniels/New Cocker Spaniel

QuestionHello,
I was considering getting a cocker spaniel pup of 6-8 weeks old. However I work 5 days a week for eight hours and it take me an hour each way to travel to and from work.
I tried to research if I should or not get the pup because I do not want to leave it alone, however there seem to be people who say yes and people who say no.
Which one please?
Thanks
Confused!
AnswerA puppy that age(of any breed) needs to be fed 5 to 6x daily. They need to be taken outside every 2 hours to get housebroken. No puppy can be left alone 10 hours a day. I can't believe anyone would say "yes" to that situation.
And once they're 12 weeks and have had all their puppy vacs - they need to be walked twice a day for at least half an hour.
So, unfortunately, it doesn't sound like having a dog is in the cards for you right now.
