Cocker Spaniels/proper ph level for cocker spaniel

Question
What is the proper pH level for a cocker spaniel's shampoo?  I have found info regarding a range of pH levels for dogs, but apparently it does vary by breed.  Do you know of any shampoos that can be recommended for American cocker spaniels?  It must be rare to find a manufacturer who puts the pH level on the bottle.

Many thanks.

Answer
Every cocker is different so, like with humans, each one will do well/not well on any particular dog shampoo.

Providing he has no skin condition, I'd start with a gentle oatmeal or neem oil shampoo and don't overbath him.  Don't worry overly about the ph balance...just see which one does the best for him.
